It's Cold Out!

The high today was 72 and it feels GREAT! I've been on the chilly side most of the day and have been curled up on the couch catching up on some reading. It's a good thing it turned cold, too: our A/C has died and it appears that it cannot be repaired. At least it had the courtesy of waiting until fall when hopefully a new one will be cheaper. :)

I'm loving this cold weather. I sure hope it sticks around. I hate it when we have a few days of weather in the 70's and then it shoots back up to the high 80's.

Cain gets to play football tomorrow night. He didn't get to play during our last game and then last week the team had an off week. His coach ordered him a special helmet that will give better protection. Apparently, even though my son has a "peanut head" (as his coach says) it's the one thing that always seems to get hit.

In just a few days it will be one month since I've seen my daughter. I miss her very much. I can't wait to see her. It'll probably be two or three more weeks before I see her. :(

This week I have found out that my uncle has a tumor blocking an artery to his liver; and my grandfather has a blockage to an artery leading to his brain. My uncle is having a biopsy tomorrow to see if his tumor is cancerous, and my grandfather is having surgery to see if the blockage can be removed. My grandpa is 88. I worry about him making it through the surgery. Please keep them in your prayers for me. I love them both very much and don't want to lose them.

Good night. :)
