My fami...How fun for you to have your babies home! My family will be heading to Trenton tomorrow afternoon, Lord willing. My grandmother has been in the hospital for almost two weeks and it will be nice to be able to see her. <BR/><BR/>Thoughts on the turkey...in my opinion(oft worth nothing)turkey is turkey! We southerner's do get picky on our traditions, especially when it comes to food. My nanny won't drink any tea but Tetley and my mom doesn't like any kind of ham, but Smithfield's. And don't dare make it a spiral-sliced ham cause to her it is not the same ham (she likes it cut into chunks). Just marinade that bird in a mixture of salt water, orange juice, galic, and white wine for 12 hours before cooking and it will be divine, no matter what name brand it is! (That brine recipe is found on Food Network-Emeril's version).
