I just got an email from my "private" email address to that very same "private" email address. Apparently I'm selling computer software and could give myself a pretty good deal on it.
I hate that my email address was spoofed. HOW did they (spoof spammers) get a hold of my PRIVATE email address? There's no telling how many people are getting this email from "me." One lady wrote me a while back and asked me to take her off my email list. I don't HAVE a list so I wrote her and told her that. :)
This was part of the email I received this morning and I'm curious to know if these crazy sentences (because I've received emails before with crazy, mixed up sentences) help to get Spam through junk filters. Anyway, this is what it said:
"Ok friend. For at that time I had already made up my mind that imperialism was an evil thing and the sooner I chucked up my job and got out of it the better. No one had the guts to raise a riot, but if a European woman went through the bazaars alone somebody would probably spit betel juice over her dress."
Lovely how they spelled beetle. Idiots.

betel is a nut that is chewed in the east for pleasure and relaxation. betel juice is spit like tobacco juice.
