I guess my seven regular readers are tired of baseball photos, but those of you who know me in "real life" know that I haven't had much time for anything else right now. We've baseballed three nights this week since Tuesday. I'm not complaining at all, there's nothing else I'd rather be doing, (except football) but I'm just letting you know why you aren't seeing anything else.
I've been feeling old and melancholy lately. I don't know what's wrong with me. I just turned 36 a couple of weeks ago and sometimes I feel like I'm 76! I think it's because the kids are growing so fast. Brooke will be off to college in August and Cain is too busy for his ol' Mom even now. When I think about them being little there's this lump in my throat that won't go away. Oh my gosh, if I could only go back and just savor every single second just one more time, I'd do it! Why does it have to go by so fast?
There's this somewhat new U2 song out that reminds me of how good U2 was when I first saw them oh-so many years ago on MTV singing "Sunday Bloody Sunday." That's not to say that they haven't had anything good since that song, but this song takes me back to when I was a young teen...it's just one of those songs that hits the spot. It's called "Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own." And with the risk of sounding all teeny-bopperie, I'll suggest that you go to vh1.com and listen to the song. It makes me cry a little. I think it's the guitar... anyway, sheesh. (maybe I should up my hormone shot dosage). ;)
Life is good.

I think I want to come see one of Cain's games just to see his facial expressions. ;o)
