Sunset & Tulips

I pulled in my driveway the other afternoon and saw how these tulips looked as the sun was setting. I hauled butt inside the house and got my camera and ran back out and took about 25 shots. :) This one was my favorite.
Someone mentioned I should've cropped the pink flower to the right out, and I did in another shot, but I still like this one best. I tried to duplicate the photo as the sun was setting today, but no such luck. :(
The Pope died today. (I'm sure I'm not breaking any news here.) How sad for Catholic community, and for the world. I think I was 9 or 10 when he became Pope. I didn't understand why it was such news, but I remember my Daddy explaining to me what he represented to the Catholic community. (We're Baptists, btw). What a tremendous loss for the world, but thank goodness he didn't have to suffer very long.
We watched The Incredibles tonight. I laughed out loud quite a few times and rather enjoyed the movie, but after about 20 minutes, Cain, my 15-year old son, got bored and went to his room.
Oh well, there's no accounting for taste. ;)

I think this picture if gorgeous! The pink flower on the right ads interest, it should be left in.....imho that is. :o)
