I've been thinking about the history around my area and how I don't take advantage of all the things there are to learn out there. I'm going to start studying the Cherokee Indians and the Civil War, also. My dad is a local historian of sorts and I think I'm going to make him take me around and teach me all he knows about our history and heritage. :)
This photo was taken in Fredericksburg, Va. I live very near the Chickamauga Battlefield, but we don't have the graves like this. It was very humbling to walk around and see all those tombstones.
