Mimosa

Mimosas are my daughter Brooke's favorite trees (well, that and Weeping Willows) so I took this photo for her.
However, when I was about 7, a neighborhood boy told me that if I'd eat the seeds that this tree produced I would become a magic princess and all my wishes would come true. I believed him and ate the seeds. Everytime I see one of those seed pods I get sick to my stomach. I don't know what was wrong with me as a child that I'd believe something like that. :oD

I especially love this photo! I can't say why, perhaps the color...and my fondness for mimosa. (Sorry about your unfortunate association with them!)
What program do you use for editing? I've used Adobe Photo Deluxe for a long time, but it is so buggy, more every day, and Adobe no longer supports it.

Thanks so much, Ellen. :) The larger size is really pretty. My daughter really liked the photo.
For editing I use Photoshop Elements 2. It came with my camera and it's quite simple to use. They now have PS Elements 3 and I've heard all kinds of good things about it! :)
