I call this photo "Christmas Wiggles," which doesn't really mean a thing, but I sure like the colors. :)My sweet hubby is horribly sick. He was doing fine when he got home from work yesterday, we ate and he sat down on the couch for a few minutes and then told me that he was going to bed, that he didn't feel good. Of course, I made fun of him because that's what we do around here--it's expected. ;) And yes, he does the same thing to me.
Twenty minutes passed and I went to check on him (I really just thought he was just tired) and he was chilling quite badly and said he was hurting all over. I put some jogging pants and a warm shirt on him and pulled out the biggest blankets we have. He was running a fever so I gave him some medicine. A little later he got quite ill and ran a fever all night.
If you know my hubby you know that he doesn't take good care of himself in that he will NOT go to the doctor for anything, ever. I swear, in the almost-20 years we've been married, he has probably gone to the doctor a total of 6 or 7 times--and that includes injuries. Anyway, when I got up to get Cain up for school Marshall told me to make him an appointment. We were able to get in right away and the doctor checked him for kidney stones and said everything looked fine there. He said that he has apparently caught the worst stomach bug that's going around right now. Isn't that lovely?! Poor guy. :( It kind of sounds like the flu though, doesn't it? I remember the one and only time I ever had the flu about 10 years ago, and that's how mine started out.
Marshall is still not better but of course he's being babied and loved on. Men are SUCH pitiful creatures when they're not well, and he's like the biggest baby of all. I say that with love, of course, but just ask Brooke and Cain what we've had to listen to. LOL He also shouts out random things so that's fun, too. ;)
Have a good night. :) I'm sure I will.
