Happy New Year!

Happy New Year, friends! We had a great new year start. We were all home and just watched movies. It probably sounds boring to most folks but I enjoy the four of us being here together. I imagine that we don't have too many of New Year's Eves left where we are all together. The kids don't seem to enjoy being with us as much as they once did.

Marshall has rested all day today. He can't really do much else. Tomorrow I'm going to make him a doctor appointment with a specialist to find out what we need to do for his leg.

I cooked dinner today and it was pretty good. We had baked ham, corn on the cob, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, rolls, and blackeyed peas, which we all hate except Marshall. Cain tasted them and said they weren't really THAT bad; "they just taste like dirt...with salt." So there you go.

Good night. :)

Do tell: what movies? I love "boring" nights at home watching movies. Some of my favorite times actually.

Would you recommend any of the movies you watched? I have a Netflix queue and can always add some more to the queue. :)
