She's Gone

Well, she's gone back to school. :( I didn't cry this time. Much. Honest to gosh, the house is so empty when she's not here, but not as empty as my heart feels when she's away from me. I seriously wonder if all moms (and I'm sure they do) feel so heartbroken when their kids leave home? I don't know how I'll make it when Cain is gone too. There has to be a way to get over this pain. Right? And I'm sorry to all of my regular readers, I really am, but ugh, it just kills me! This can't be normal.

This weekend my Dad's side of the family are all getting together to celebrate my grandfather's 89th birthday. I'm really excited about it. We are all going to church with him and then to eat and then back to my aunt's house for a slideshow. :) It's going to be lots of fun. I can't wait to see everyone because we didn't get together for Christmas.

My house is really starting to come together. I have so much junk I'm going to get rid of. Pretty soon we are going to start remodeling a little bit. I sure can't wait. I love this old house but it needs so much work.
