Honest to gosh, this was the detour road that we went down. It was F-U-N. I was really terrified that my two-wheel drive Explorer was going to get stuck. My hubby did some excellent driving. Cain and I, when we finally opened our eyes, were very impressed with him! For this shot I just held my camera out of the window. I pulled it back in when the road got worse--and it did. Georgia red clay at it's finest. ;)I was so glad to get out and shoot today. We went up the road from the house to Pigeon Mountain and had a great time. I was so thankful that Marshall took me. I won't go to places like this by myself. If something happened there would be no way to get in touch with anyone.
Anyway, we were near a lake shooting and Cain got on a log over the water so I fussed at him for it because I was afraid he'd drop the camera in the water. Well, about 10 minutes after that I was taking my BRAND new, never before used Tamrac backpack off my back and when I slung it around my shoulder it slipped right out of my hand and straight into that lake! I grabbed it rather quickly and everything was ok, besides how fast my heart was beating! :D
Thanks Brooke and Cain for your wonderful gift of the backpack! It was initiated today. It really is waterproof!
