I call this photo "half-dollar" because, well you know, I was falling forward as I took it and it's not a whole sand dollar. :D Yes, I know I need to get out more.I'm still fighting to stay awake. I got up and dusted and washed dishes, fed my critters and straightened the house up. I thought that might get me awake but as soon as I sat back down I got all foggy again. "Foggy" is the best word for how I'm feeling. I swear I hate to whine, (no really I do!) because I feel like I have it made in the shade. I really have nothing to whine about. It's just this feeling that I can't shake. Maybe it's just from being tired from the trip. I sure hope so! I've always been anemic so it's possible that my blood is just low again. I need to get back on iron pills to see if that helps out some. At any rate, I'm sure I'll be better soon.
Cain and Marshall just got home from a baseball meeting. We're going to have to cough up quite a bit of dough for Cain to play baseball! This is what the form says that he brought home:
Hat $15
Socks $5
Shoes $70
Short & Long Sleeve Mizuno Under Gear $45
Sweatsuit $35
Gloves $20
Jacket $35
Total: $225
$225! Again, I'm not complaining because we'll come up with the money somehow, but what about those families out there that can't afford it? My goodness, that's a lot of money for a high school baseball season. The school is really good about working with families who need the help, and normally there are fundraisers and whatnot, but I guess they just didn't set any fundraisers up in time or something this year. Whew, well I guess it'll all pan out in the end when Cain turns pro, won't it? ;o)
