This morning it snowed! Yay! Snow! We had a little dusting and it was beautiful. The snow was coming down in big, huge flakes. It was great. I only wish it would've lasted a little bit longer.If the snow weren't enough I also got to see a turkey vulture AND a Pileated Woodpecker! I'm sure I sound like a huge dork but I don't care. I was SO very excited. Pileated Woodpeckers are very, very shy and it's so hard to shoot them. The photos I got aren't the best at all, but who cares, I got to see one!
AND if that weren't exciting enough, the Steelers won the Super Bowl. Yee haa!

And she says---ahhhh hah! So that is what the pilated woodpecker looks like. I see them too when I am out riding, but of course I am not set up to catch them in a photo!
