Wonderful Wednesday

It rained all day today. If you know me you know that I love rain, but lately I have such a case of cabin fever. I'm so tired of having to stay indoors all the time. I had been slowly losing weight when I first quit my job because I was so active, doing all sorts of things each day. Now I sit and stare out the windows waiting for spring. Plus, I don't know if I've mentioned this, but the first day of spring --March 2o-- also happens to be my birthday. It's also Chrisi's birthday and my Daddy's birthday. You probably won't see me bring that up again. I don't like to brag about my birthday or anything; I'm just not that kind of girl.

Cain has his first baseball game next week, weather permitting. Can you believe that? His first baseball game and February isn't even over with! I'm very excited but I hope we don't freeze to death like we did last March when he played. It was horribly cold. We won though, so maybe the cold is good for the boys. ;D

When I was a teenager INXS was one of my favorite bands. I was heartbroken when Michael Hutchence, their lead singer, passed away. Anyway, so as you probably know INXS has a new singer who sounds quite a bit like Hutchence. I didn't think I'd like him stepping in, but he's doing a pretty good job. So what you're gonna wanna do is go to vh1.com and do a search for the song "Afterglow," which is their new song. I love it. You probably will, too. Have a listen.
