It's Monday Again!

Yesterday we had no phone service AT all, all day long. I don't think anyone in my city did. I have Nextel (now Sprint), hubby has Verizon (through his work), and Cain's friend has Cingular. None of us had phone service. I don't know if one of the towers was having problems or what, but ANYWAY, when my phone finally did beep this afternoon to let me know I had service, I had a message from my friend Kandi. *sigh* She told me she had free tickets to the CMT Awards and would I like to go. Grrrrr! It was too late by the time I got the message to say yes, that I'd love to go. Can you believe the luck?! Of course, she COULD'VE came by here and told me. ;) Oh well, doesn't matter anyway, I'm broke as a umm...well, I'm broke.

I've been going through my house getting things ready for a yard sale. I have too much junk as I'm sure you already know. I hope to have everything ready to sale in the next couple of weeks. I wish that my daughter would come home so I could get rid of most of the crap in her room. She has SO much stuff piled in her room that it makes mine look amazingly uncluttered--and that's just wrong.

I'm watching the new "Ten Commandments." I don't know if you are, or did, but I much prefer the old one thus far. I loved that movie growing up and always looked forward to it coming on around Easter time. That and the Wizard of Oz. :)

I'm back to my "Can't Go To Sleep Until 1:30 Or So" phase. I hate it. I will especially hate it in the morning when I have to get up early to take Cain to school. He has a game tomorrow near Atlanta so I'll be heading to that. Isn't it great that gas has gone up to $2.79? I know I'll enjoy that tomorrow when I'm headed down that way. :(

Have a good night.

Yeah shame you missed that, of course I sent you an email and IM too so you have no excuse, slacker. Anywho, I had a full filled day of star gazing and it cost me absolutely nothing. Good times - The one time a friend calls you and invites you to a free show and an after party with celebs and free lobster and your stupid phone doesn't work! MAN I LOVE LOBSTER!

I have no email and no IM from you.

Glad you had a good time, and lobster sucks. *gag*

Poor girl. I am feeling so sorry for you--NOT!
Gas prices do suck. Thinking of riding Badger to work...but no hitching post.
Maybe I'll just stay home, soon it'll be cheaper NOT to be employed.
