I know, I know...I talk about it ALL the time, but I LOVE my yard. Oh my gosh, there are so many flowering bushes in it and it's WONDERFUL! However, the brand new lawn mower we bought last year at Lowes will not work. I'm so frustrated by it. I love to mow and would much rather push mow than use a riding mower. There's something about it that just relaxes me and then of course there's the benefit to having such a beautiful yard after you're done. I'm so sad about it. I guess we're going to have to break down (no pun intended) and get one that is a little more expensive in hopes that it will last more than a *$)^# year.I guess you all heard the horrible news this morning. The fact that I'm even up and talking about it is impressive, but if you haven't heard, you might want to brace yourself: Ready?
Katie Couric is leaving the Today show!
Yep, it's true. She's leaving and going to CBS to be the FIRST ever sole female anchor for the evening news. I'm just devastated. I love my Katie Couric. Of course, I'd rather it be her leaving than Matt. :D
Did you also know that Def Leppard and Journey are touring together this summer? I was a huge fan of both of those groups. I was, and still am, all about 80's music. I was a teen during the 80's and I pretty much loved everything that came on the radio (except for "We Built This City" by Jefferson Starship---gag-a-mag). But anyway, did you see what I said? JOURNEY. I bet it's not the real Journey with Steve Perry, which makes me sad. But again, they'll be all over the south in late June/early July if anyone would like to buy me tickets.

That's so cool! I wish they would stop up here in this area.
Too funny Rachel...if you want to mow a yard, mine is available! Wish I had a rider, it takes me 5 hrs by hand.
Perhaps I'll just turn Badger out to eat and fertilize!
As for the bands? 80's? I was raising a family and the 80's were lame compared to the 60's...ha ha!
