This morning I had every intention of finishing the yard work but instead Marshall, Cain, and I went hiking on Raccoon Mountain at the TVA facility. I had never been there before and we had a great time. It's free, too, so that's always nice. :)I took lots of wildflower photos and Marshall spotted a screech owl so that made my whole day. Unfortunately I didn't have my tripod so they were mostly blurry. :( They'll work, but I wish I had brought my tripod.
On the way home I stopped on the side of the road because I had spotted this white iris and really wanted to get a shot of it. Isn't it beautiful? Marshall dug me up a few (and got himself some prickly pear cacti, too. :) I hope they all live.
