Today was my first day back at work and I have to say, it was B-O-R-I-N-G (much like my blog). I loved being there with my co-workers though. :) Chrisi caught me talking to myself a time or two and I told her I guessed it was because I was usually alone (which isn't a problem for me) so I just started talking to myself. :) It's ok though, I'm amazingly interesting. You just can't tell that by reading this thing. Hee hee!
I didn't get to meet Kandi for our walk today but after work Cain and I went over to the walking trail and walked for two miles. I'm glad I did, too. I haven't walked since last Thursday and THAT was just a half a mile. I stepped on the scales and I had gained back three of the seven pounds I lost. :(
Well, I'm about to head to bed. What with being a working girl and all, I've got to get some sleep.
Here's a little shout out to my Scoot, who's Capt. Grouchy McGrumpyPants today. Who loves you, Scoot? That's right, I DO! :)
1. What do you do when somebody compliments you? I usually say, Oh thank you, but (insert something bad about myself here). It's something I'm really working on. Just saying "thank you" should be enough. :)2. What color are your eyes? GREEN! (0=
3. What do you like most about yourself? My sense of humor.
4. How do you spend Christmas? With my family. Man, Christmases when I was a child were amazing. The tradition was that we spend Christmas Eve at my maternal grandmother's house with my mother's five siblings, their spouses, and my cousins. It was great! There would be tons of presents and laughter. Then Christmas morning the tradition was to get up, open our gifts and then head over to my paternal grandparents house for Christmas breakfast. I love Christmas better than anything. Now, the traditions have changed, but we still have a wonderful Christmas every year. Now we go to Marshall's parents house and have a White Elephant Christmas (I think that's what you call it), and it's so much fun. :)
5. When do you normally blog? Day or night? Mostly at night.
6. What song can you relate to your personal life? "Remember When" by Alan Jackson pretty much perfectly describes my marriage to Marshall and our lives since. Need a barf bag? Hee hee! Here's part of the song:
Remember when we vowed the vows and walked the walk Gave our hearts, made the start, it was hard We lived and learned, life threw curves There was joy, there was hurt Remember when
Remember when old ones died and new were born And life was changed, disassembled, rearranged We came together, fell apart And broke each other's hearts Remember when
Remember when the sound of little feet was the music We danced to week to week Brought back the love, we found trust Vowed we'd never give it up Remember when
Remember when thirty seemed so old Now lookn' back it's just a steppin' stone To where we are, Where we've been Said we'd do it all again Remember when
Remember when we said when we turned gray When the children grow up and move away We won't be sad, we'll be glad For all the life we've had And we'll remember when...
7. What is your favorite color for a sleeping environment? Odd question...it doesn't matter to me.

Are you playing Christmas music yet? I was so excited by a Christmas music commercial last night. I try hard to hold out until Thanksgiving, but sometimes I secretly slip in a Christmas CD in the car around Halloween.
Good morning! So the first day wasn't exciting? Glad you got out to walk again though!!!!
Good for you!
