Golden

Today I had to help honey do a few chores and since I didn't get to go with Kandi to Desoto State Park in Mentone, Alabama, we stopped by there on the way home. We did a bit of hiking and the leaves were spectacular. Unfortunately my photos weren't. It was just one of those days, I guess. Waaah!

When we got home I started a beef stew for supper and then I worked my tail off in the yard. I picked up limbs (we have a LOT of dead limbs all the time), raked, mowed (w/the push mower while honey used the riding mower--how does that happen all the time?!), raked some MORE, and then swept all my mess off the sidewalk. :) I washed all the clothes and NOW I'm beat.

We watched "Click" tonight which stars Adam Sandler. It was REALLY good. I cried. A lot. :) You should watch it. It has a great message. Make sure you have your tissue with you though.

Here's a photo that Marshall took of me standing in front of one of the big rocks at Desoto. That sucker was huge. Since I'm losing weight, my all my pants are falling off of me. I don't have any that fit right now and I'm not buying any either. Just thought I'd share that.
