Cain

We went to a banquet tonight with Cain and his coaches. He won Defensive Player of the Week for Week 2 (out of 11 weeks) from a local radio station out of Rome, Ga. for his game-winning blocked field goal in a game against a AA team (we are single A) . He also had two interceptions and a fumble recovery in that same game. He's standing with his defensive coach on the left, and his head coach on the right. :) He won that plaque, a sweatshirt, and $250 in his name was donated to the high school's athletic program. His photo will also be on billboards throughout the Rome area. :) Hee hee, that cracks me up. Anyway, it's a big deal so we're pretty doggone proud of him. :)

We had our Thanksgiving dinner at work today and it was yummy-deelish. My Pilgrim Pie from yesterday's post was a huge success with everyone that ate it, except for me. :) I didn't much care for it but then I'm not a big fan of cinnamon so I guess that would be why.

We got a lot of Thanksgiving salespapers in today's paper. I'm very excited to start my shopping. :) I hope to find some good bargains this year. I never go on the day after Thanksgiving. I've only done it once, I think, and I didn't really enjoy it very much but I might give it another go this year. :)
