Heartbreaker

Because I worked the Square on the Square the other night I had some spare hours so I used them today and got off work at 1. I straightened up the house a little bit before we headed to the game.

Since I've started back to work my house is a disaster area, even more so than usual. It sure makes me in a bad mood when it's a mess, but where do you find the time to straighten it like you should? :(

My grandmother has been gone for a month today. I didn't realize that until I looked at the calendar. I can't believe it has been a month already. Every time I see an elderly lady that was about her age, my heart hurts. I miss her SO much. I also hate the fact that I don't have a grandmother anymore. I'm jealous of others that do. My grandmother probably loved me more than anyone in my whole life has ever loved me. :) And really, who can blame her. ;)

We lost a heartbreaker tonight to the opposing team, which was our second region loss. We were beating them for the ENTIRE game by several points but a couple of mistakes in the 4th quarter had them tied with us 34-34. They beat us in overtime. :(

We, of course, got home before Cain did. I am so cold that I feel like I might throw up. I've never shivered so bad in my life. It was painful. Cain is finally here and has a knot and bruise on the side of his left thigh that's bigger than my hand. :( I sure hope it's nothing major. We're going to keep an eye on it.
