Pretty, Oh So Pretty

Me, Brooke, and my chins. I'm not sure why we always feel the need to make goofy photos of ourselves, but it sure is lots o' fun.

I've lost five more pounds. It's a shame that it's not in my face, but it's at least five more pounds. I weighed on the scales at work and almost passed out when I saw the loss so I stepped back on it and it weighed one pound less than it did when I stood on it the first time. I went to the dr. for my hormone shot and got on the scales there and it matched the weight from my first weigh-in so I'm just going to go with that. It's all very exciting, especially since I ate my weight in turkey at Thanksgiving. :o)

Work was pleasant today. I thought I'd go back to tons of crap to catch up on but I took my time instead of getting myself all in a tizzy over it like I usually do and the day went by rather smoothly. I enjoyed it very much. I really do love my co-workers (and I'm not just saying that because they read this) and I actually look forward to going in after the weekend to catch up on what they've been doing.

We're watching Monday Night Football (Seattle vs. Green Bay) and the field is covered with snow. It just kills me that we never get snow. I am really hoping that next year, next Nov. or Dec., that we can take a vacation to Colorado or somewhere out west. We've never been out there and pretty much all my life I've wanted to go to Colorado. I sure hope we're able to do it.
