Christmas Shopping

This is Brooke and Cain with their great grandpa on Thanksgiving day. :)

I started my Christmas shopping last night and continued today. I only have about 7 million more things to buy. Isn't that great? Plus, I still have to get Brooke's birthday present (she'll be 20 on the 19th). I really need to put a "Donate" button on my page. :)

I was considerate enough today to print off my Christmas Wish List on Kaboodle. Chrisi and I both agreed that it was a very sweet thing of me to do. I mean, think of all the guesswork I'm eliminating for my family and friends. Wow, I'm so sweet. I bet I'm No. 1 on Santa's Nice List. Weird thing though, when I handed my list to Marshall he said, "Oh thanks, I was just about to go to the bathroom and we're out of toilet paper." He's becoming quite the stand-up comedian, don't you think?

I found an old Prince CD when I was going through some junk today and it sure made me nostalgic. I remember in 1984 (WAY back when I was 15 years old) and "Purple Rain" came out. My Daddy wouldn't let me go see it and so my aunt, his sister, snuck me and my cousin Tiffany out to see it. :D That was so out of character for my aunt, but boy we had such a good time!

Speaking of Nostalgia Lane, my co-workers and I were discussing Count Chocula the other day because as a child that was my favorite cereal. Well I'll be John Brown if I wasn't going down the cereal aisle today and there it was! I snatched up a box and wanted to eat a bowl SO badly when I got home. I can't do that because, well for one, I'm already a fat cow, and two, I have that stupid hiatal hernia. If I eat this late I usually wake up choking half to death. Blah. Come tomorrow though, I'm going to be all up in that stuff. :)

G'night.
