This is my cousin Tiffany with my new Christmas gift that she painted. I got it this weekend at the get-together and I absolutely LOOOOVE it. I think it's so beautiful, and so very folk-artsie. I need to find a place to hang it though. I'm probably hanging it in my dining room but I'm just not sure. It's hard to find room to hang things because as you all probably know, my Dad is an artist and I have his prints hanging all over creation. :)I got home this evening and cooked supper and then watched Elf with the kids. Mainly it was just ME watching it because Brooke dozed on the couch beside me and Cain went to bed with an earache. It's all good though, I love Elf. Elf is my favorite. ;)
I'm not sure if I mentioned it to my coworkers today or not, but Brooke will be 20 tomorrow. That's 2-0 (twenty). Yep, I'm officially old now. Whew, I can't believe my baby girl is all grown up. I don't like it...

1. I get about ZERO telemarketer phone calls on a daily basis. I don't have a home phone. Only my cell phone.
2. I never call anyone after 9 at night. I don't like it when people call me after 9 p.m. either.
3. I never call anyone before 7:30 in the morning. And only that early because me and my co-workers always call one another if we're going to pick up breakfast somewhere.
4. I (please choose one) DO or DON'T screen my phone calls via caller ID.
5. I really should call my mother and my grandfather more often.

I watched that yesterday after finals with my students. They had not seen it before and seemed to really like it. Smiling is my favorite.
