Shopping, Shopping, Sleeping

I got up at 6 this morning and got ready and met Kandi at her house around 9. We headed to a local outlet mall and hit several stores there before we headed off to Chattanooga (aka "One Should Never Drive Near the Mall at Christmas Unless You Want To Sit In Traffic For-freakin-Ever-City"). We finished our shopping there around 2:30ish.

I'm very proud of me because I spent about $150 all day and finished getting everything I need for Brooke and Cain. I still have a few more things to get for Marshall and a couple of other folks, but I'm basically finished. AND I didn't spend very much money, which is good since I don't have much money to spend.

Kandi had an interview with a wedding couple at Mi Cafe Aroma and I sat there and played on her laptop and pretended I didn't know her while she talked with them. The girl sitting just three seats down from me was a very attractive, hip-looking lady, probably in her early 20's. She was attractive in appearance but I almost threw up when she sat AT THE TABLE WHERE PEOPLE EAT and filed her fingernails. I couldn't believe it. I wanted to say, "You know people eat here, right?" but I didn't. I was even more grossed out when she used her hand to wipe all the fingernail dust off the table. Where people eat. Just think about that the next time you sit down to eat at a restaurant. If your food touches the table, you might just want to let it stay on the table. *gag*

Kandi and I had a great time today. We haven't got to spend the day together in ages and we laughed a lot. Especially on the way home. I'll leave you with some memorable words:

"You must smell like feet wrapped in leathery burnt bacon."

"F.S."

"Sweet ball of sugar"

"You know, why don't you just call the Holritz's instead?"

"And even with a zit on my nose!"

"Just get me a turkey club...What are you getting? I always order the wrong thing."

LOL. What a day!

By the way, if you haven't went out and got the Daughtry CD, you probably shouldn't ever speak to me again.
