Brrr!

A cold front moved in last night with some mighty power winds bringing it on in. No lie, it sounded like we were standing in a wind tunnel. I think the weather guy said the gusts got up to 45 mph, but in between the gusts the wind blew without ceasing. It was VERY loud and sounded like a tornado --but there were no breaks in the sound. It was just constant wind...wow, never heard such before.

We got up this morning to several large limbs down in the front yard; the garbage cans were blown over; a downspout on the front of the house blew off; AND our poor Hopper's doghouse came unhinged and the top blew off. She looked so pitiful this morning. I'm glad it wasn't raining when the wind started. At least she was dry. Anyway, it's cold out there.

I had a rough night and am still not feeling great. I am up to watch American Idol and then I'm going back to bed. I had dry toast for supper. Yum.

Enjoy your evening.

I love this picture. I would love to spend a few days sitting on the beach! Our wind sounded like a winter blizzard...howling around the corners. Take care of yourself, Sweetie!

As of about midnight that night, the Covenant College website said there had been a gust of 58mph! The next morning it was out/offline. I think we are in for another windy night. Hope you feel better soon.
