Even Though...

"It is not how much you do, but how much love you put in the doing."

Even though I never met my friend Shirl's daughter, I feel like I know her through her mother. Tonight my friend will be celebrating her daughter's life and of course she is pretty much all I can think about today. I hope that you will take the time to go over to Shirley's blog, and read the words she has written for her daughter's memorial service tonight. What a beautiful expression of love for the child that she has lost. Please CLICK HERE.

Marshall, Cain, and I have been sitting here all day looking forward to the snow that never came. The Weather Channel predicted 3 to 6 inches for our area, but boy were they off. It hasn't snowed one single flake out there. Atlanta, however, is getting quite a bit. Our state is getting snow even as far down as Macon, which makes me sick. Why can't we get some here?! :( It even snowed in Baghdad, Iraq last week so why not here?!

We are going to join some friends for supper later so I'm going to take a quick nap. I HOPE I'm going to take a quick nap. I stayed up last night until 2:30. I don't know why. I watched "Deer Hunter" and then couldn't sleep after that. Shocking, yes?

Baby, thank you! And you have to blame us for the lack of snow because we prayed that God would give us good weather for our service...and He did graciously answer our prayer..that and so many other prayers we've had this week.
