Say It Ain't So

Well, I had an absolutely terrific day until it got to the part where my friend Matt called me and told me about Heath Ledger being found dead in his apartment. :( I've had a "star crush" on him since WAY back in 2001 when "A Knight's Tale" came out. "Crush" probably isn't the correct word. I was totally infatuated. :) I thought he was absolutely beautiful. I loved him so much that I bought Brooke a poster for Christmas just so I could stare at him (ask her, it's true). :) Poor kid, he was only 28, and he has a baby daughter. So sad.... :(

Kandi picked me up this morning and we went to a luncheon with several of her photographer friends. I enjoyed meeting all of them. They are all wedding/portrait photographers but they made me (the ol' nature photographer) feel quite welcome. :) We ate at Blue Orleans in downtown Chattanooga and it was delicious. If you guys live near Chattanooga, you should check it out. This one was across the street from the Choo Choo, but there's another on Amnicola Hwy., too.

After our meal we headed to the gym and worked our arms and I can hardly even move them to type. Ouch! I hate working my arms. They're SO weak. They really hurt. I'm such a weakling.

I am REALLY wanting to get out and shoot. I haven't shot anything besides people lately and I'm so bored. I need beautiful nature and wildlife. I hope to get out sometime next week as the rest of this week is going to be completely busy.
