Beautiful Day

Today hubby and I celebrated Valentine's Day together since I wasn't home yesterday. It was a beautiful day.

We got up early and headed to Chattanooga so that he could pick up a part that he needed for an upcoming job and then headed to my favorite place for breakfast: yes, Cracker Barrel. My breakfast was healthy and delicious. :)

From there we went to one of my most favorite places: TVA's Raccoon Mtn. Pumped Storage Plant, and a designated Wildlife Observation Area. The views from that place are amazing and we walked through the trails around the bluff and had a terrific time.

We left there and followed an old road along the base of Lookout Mountain, and ended up in Valley Head, Alabama. We rode up the mountain and through the Pigeon Mtn. Wildlife Management area and also did a bit of hiking through the woods there.

We had supper at one of our favorite restaurants and then headed home. I think we got here around seven. I'm so sleepy now that I can't hardly stay awake--and it's not even 9 o'clock yet. I hope I stay sleepy when my head hits the pillow. :) Anyway, we had a perfect day together and I took several photos that I hope are beautiful.
