Happiness Is...

...seeing this little precious doll run to me. :) She had such a fun time today, running back and forth between hubby and myself. We were about 50 yards apart and she managed to do the run four times before plopping down flat on her belly. Yes, I know she's adorable. And no Brooke, you still can't have her.

Marshall and I drove all over the place today. He had to go up into middle Tennessee to a meeting. We got home around 7 or so. We're both exhausted. We stopped by Fort Loudoun in Vonore, Tennessee and I took a few pictures there.

We stopped to eat on the way home and I got very sick and wasn't able to eat. :( I'm feeling much better now but whew, it was rough. This hiatal hernia is going to be the death of me. :(

We had a great day together. I so enjoy taking day trips together and we seriously always have the best time. We talk about future plans, our goals. We talk about everything and it's just wonderful.

Marshall bought me a book similar to a book that E&D got me for my birthday a couple of years back. That book--Birds of the Carolinas by Stan Tekiela--has been my most favorite book since I got it. It's a field guide and Tekiela takes the BEST bird photos. I wish he'd have a seminar in Atlanta or Nashville close by so I could go. I use the soup out of that book (and it's companion CD). Anyway, Marshall bought "Birds of Tennessee" for me as an early Valentine's Day present AND when I got home I had "Birds of Georgia" waiting on me at the door. Both of these are also by Stan Tekiela. Most of the birds are similar, of course, but there are lots of different birds in each book, too. I LOVE them and I can't wait to use them. :)

Cain got home from Kentucky today and he got another really good offer to play ball. He isn't sure what he's going to do yet but will make his mind up within a couple of days. I'm so happy for him.

We're watching a movie. Have a good night. :)

This picture is priceless, Rachel! Makes me want to grab her and hug her! I thought of her this morning as I looked at the paper. I think it was Wal-Mart that had little doggie dresses :)

She looks like a hover craft from Star Wars made from a wookie or wokie... what were the little things with glowing eyes? Do you know how proud I am that I don't know what they were called, even though I'm dorky enough to make a Star Wars reference..Jabber Winks? What were they! That is going to bug me.

Almost there
Stay on Target

(Char just walked in my room and this is the EXACT conversation)

Me "So, on Star Wars, those fuzzy things with..."
Char "Ewoks" and he walks out.

All I said was fuzzy things with and he knew what I was talking about. Then he walked out of the room.

My life is a sitcom.
