R.I.P Hairdryer

I took this during baseball practice last week. Cain has a scrimmage game this Saturday and I sure hope it has warmed up by then.

My poor, wonderful hairdryer died last night. It popped with a flash of light and that was that. It has been on its last leg for quite a while now, but I hated to see it go. You girls probably know how hard it is to find just the right hairdryer (right?!) and this one was my favorite. It lasted for several years, too. I hate shopping for a new one.

It's a beautiful day outside but that wind sure is cold. I haven't had a good chance yet to go take pics of all the birds on my new birdfeeder. There are tons of them out there, too. I just saw birds scatter in every direction and thought the cats were bothering them but when I went out there my red-shouldered friend was perched on one of the branches very close by. I hate that I spooked her. It would've been such a pretty picture.

I haven't been motivated at all today. I hate that. You all know the sleep thing so I won't go in to that, but I DID try to lay in bed this morning and sleep but that didn't work out for me. Even though I have no motivation I really did start on Brooke's room. I love her room, yet as you probably know, I've piled it full of stuff. It's looking much better though and I hope to have one side of it completely cleaned out within the next couple of days.

Cain is having a signing party at the school this Wednesday. He will sign a letter of intent to play football with Union College in Barbourville, Ky. We are going to have a cookout for him with friends and family within the next few weeks. I expect all of you to be here, too! We're so proud for him and of him. Now, if we could only go with him when he leaves....

Have a good one. :)

Yay!!!! I'm so happy for Cain!

And, yes, we all know about hair dryers being hard to replace. I've had mine a long time, so I fear its days are numbered.
