What Gives?!

Marshall and I were supposed to be headed to Va. today. :( I was really looking forward to going up there, too. Instead I spent the early morning hours outside taking photos of my birds. He picked me up and we headed to Chattanooga to take care of some things he needed taken care of there. We just got home a little bit ago.

I love Chattanooga and wish we had an apartment right on the river. For a mere $200,000 or so we could have one about as big as my closet in my bedroom. Wouldn't that be FUN?! The photo ops would be endless!

We watched "The Kingdom" last night and both thought it was a wonderful movie. It certainly kept my attention. It was terrific.

Tomorrow we are going out to eat with several of our friends and I cannot wait! I can't wait to see them all as it has been a few weeks. :) I know they must miss me, too. *ahem*

For Thursday 13 I'm offering 13 different things to choose from for Valentine's Day, in hopes that my daughter will tell her father the ideas on this list (as I have repeatedly) so that I don't end up with another Chia head or mens flannel pajama bottoms. :) So, here you go:

~~Thursday 13~~

1. Suet for my feeders. The blocks are $1.12 at Wal-Mart.
2. Black oil sunflower seeds for my other feeders. A 50-lb. bag is about $20 at Ace Hardware.
3. One of those feeders I've been asking for. This would be free as we have everything to make it, the wood, the nails, everything. :) (CAIN!)
4. A sugar maple tree.
5. A pink dogwood.
6. Some flowerpots that will sit on the deck. These are so inexpensive!
7. Dinner at one of my favorite restaurants. You know which one. :)
8. A butterfly bush for the front yard.
9. One of those laptop holders like Eric had. He said it was about $15.
10. Stay home with me and lets go play golf! We haven't in so long!
11. One of those rocking chairs like they sell at Cracker Barrel.
12. Make me some of those yummy chicken & dumplin's again. Mmmm!
13. A love letter would be my most favorite thing in the world. :)

There you have it.

Tim and I stopped doing the Valentines thing. Sometimes I think I let him off too easy.

That is a good idea about the list. We normally just write love notes to one another, but my Mom had asked for the kids to come over and spend some time with her tonight so we are going out! WOOHOO! :)
I hope you have a great weekend!
love,
Chas
