I took this photo the other day in the Chickamauga Battlefield. I'm only saying this because I know that down the road I'll be wondering where I found such a tall pine tree. :)It's cloudy again this morning. :( The sun is supposed to come out this afternoon and I sure hope it does. Cain has a game today that wasn't on the schedule *grumble* and I hope it's pretty out there by game time.
I watched Jezebel the other night. The movie stars Bette Davis and Henry Fonda and was made in 1938. It was terrific. Bette Davis really was breathtaking, wasn't she? Funny, I never even knew about her until Kim Carnes had a hit with "Bette Davis Eyes." I became quite fascinated with her when I was a teenager, but as a woman and not as an actress really. I want to see all of her movies now. :)
Women just don't look like that anymore. Look how beautiful she was. I love that classic, timeless beauty of actresses from the 30's, 40's, and 50's. Heck, it wasn't just actresses. I love looking through old photos and seeing how my grandmother dressed when she was a youngster. Her hair, her clothes, her make-up...everything was just flawless. Those must've been the days. :)Someone has been a big grouch today. I'm ready to string him up by his toes. :( I'm married to Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde. Hee hee. Oh well, makes it interesting I reckon. :D

I personally wouldn't have liked those days. Looking flawless all the time? Piff. Give me the flaws.. the messy hair, the FF look, the all natural this is me. Those old movies, those people did look pretty, but fake. There are too many fake people in this world already. I have not met one person in my entire life that looked better with makeup on. Not one.
