What a beauty, huh?! I was so excited that I almost peed my pants. This is a cottonmouth, and I'm pretty sure he was getting ready to shed his skin because his eyes were glazed over, see? I probably wouldn't have been so tickled had I known that cottonmouth's are quite aggressive. Obviously I know that they are poisonous, but didn't know that unlike rattlesnakes or copperheads, they will come after you. *GASP*Today I laughed SO hard that I seriously thought I was going to pass out. This will not be funny to anyone else because you weren't there, but if you can just imagine the faces....ah... Marshall does boiler work as you know. He uses something called nipples, which is a reducer, on a pipe. No one calls them reducers though, everyone calls them nipples. Unless you work with pipes though, you wouldn't know that, just like I didn't know that.
We go into Ace Hardware and there are employees just standing around the front chit-chatting. One of the employees asks Marshall what they can do for him and Marshall says, "Do you have black nipples?" Guess what gender the person was that asked Marshall if he needed help? Guess what color said person was?
Marshall never thought anything of it. Saying "black nipples" to him is like me asking for Diet Coke. It's something he says all the time. However, both myself, and the woman offering to help him, just looked at him for a few seconds. She said, "Excuse me?" and Marshall, still not seeing that either of us thought it odd, kept explaining exactly what he needed. I wasn't standing near them, thank gosh, because I got so tickled that I had to walk off. I was thankful neither of them was paying attention to me.
I finally met up with Marshall in the back of the store and overheard the lady telling him that she was sorry, but they just didn't have those in stock. When he thanked her and she walked off, I walked up to Marshall, our noses almost together, and said, "Did you just ask that lady if she had black nipples?" His eyes got huge just for a split second and we both burst out laughing. It was not until then that he realized how that must've sounded to her. We laughed about that for the rest of the evening. Well, I did anyway. :)

Poor Kandi!!!! How could you do that to her? I am sure the rest of her day was just a bust because of that snake. I don't like it either and can't imagine that you do but anyway.
