Lucy was VERY thirsty the other day, so Marshall and Brooke let her do a baaaaaaad thing: she drink from the "people fountain." :) Look, it was hot, we were far away from the car, and she was panting. What were they to do?! This was at Noccalula, and you may remember the dragging incident from last year when we took her there. ;)(Ignore the second video that is showing up on here. I can't remove it and I don't know why it's showing up like that.)
That video was taken on August 12, 2007. It sounds like I'm crying but I had a cold AND I was laughing so hard that I couldn't breathe. Most of you have seen it before. Trust me, Lucy was NOT hurt in any fashion. When she doesn't want to walk anymore, she simply won't. You'll have to forgive the filming, I made it with my camera phone. Anyway, just over the tracks there in the video is the fountain where she's drinking at in the photo above.

My Daddy called me a little bit ago and they now have the internet! Yay! I'm so excited for him and my stepmom. I was on the phone with them for an hour, setting them up a gmail account. I really am VERY happy that they have the internet so that we can stay in touch that way, too. Yay!
A few years ago, someone let me borrow the Dean Martin box collection. Who was that? I can't remember and I want to see what that box set was called. I think it was Tim and Jen but I'm not sure. :( I want to add that to my Christmas list. :)
We had some of the most powerful storms move through here than we've had in a long, long time. The lightning was worse than I've seen it in years. It was pretty much constant, and it seemed like it was just right on you. It was very spooky, but I loved it. Lucy and I were here alone (the kids had gone shopping and honey was delivering a part) and I sat on the couch w/all the lights off and just watched the storm move through. The power went out a few times but quickly came back on. It was pretty neat. :)
I didn't shop for Cain's stuff today like I wanted to do. I'm going to go tomorrow I guess. I hate shopping and I wasn't in the mood to do it today. I suppose it would be smarter to wait until this weekend for the "tax free" sale. He doesn't really need that much so I won't have to spend a lot, which is nice. :)

I think the Dean Martin set may have been E. I have (or had) all the CD's that had been burned through the years and I remember a big clump of Dean CD's. I think I gave them to Thomas, I'm not a big DM fan. If not, I'll get them to you. Either way, I'll get you another set. I think he got them from Tams so I'm sure if you are sweet to her she has TONS she could burn.
OMG that video is so darned funny! Lucy is a character! Of course I'm being double dogged right now and having a good time.
My son misses his pup so much I decided she would put her adventures on my blog while he was in Scotland, that way he could check on her daily.
What a hoot.
I'm glad the storms didn't do any harm!
We had a huge lightening show here last night as well.
