I'm a Chatty Cathy today so bear with me. :)
Lucy is afraid of her water bowl and her food bowl. Is that normal? We've tried glass bowls, plastic bowls, and stainless steel bowls, which is what I prefer her to use. Is it NORMAL for a dog to be afraid of that kind of thing?
I guess I need to record what she does because it's just insane. She walks up to the bowls VERY slowly, then stares at them for a few seconds. She'll do this bob and weave thing and then S-T-R-E-T-C-H until it looks like her neck is as long as an ostrich neck. Sometimes the stretch isn't enough and her back legs will tip off the ground. If she's eating, she will VERY gently take a few pieces of the food and then drop them on the floor and eat from the floor.
My dog is special, yes? Seriously though, I am curious as to why she has this odd behavior. Any ideas?

She is scared of her reflection I bet. If you looked like her, wouldn't you be? hehehe.
yeah our dog used to do that too..we had a stainless steal bowl i think it was and when he walked up to it he could see himself and get scared so we had to buy him a whole different dog bowl lol
Our Lhasa Apso wouldn't drink from her water bowl, but it was the water that bothered her not the bowl. She would do tht with a puddle too. We had to feed her ice chips instead. She never had trouble with the food though.
