They're very hardy, that is, unless your husband is mowing around them and doesn't run over them exactly, but hits them with the cover over the side of the lawnmower where the grass comes out.
*grumble* He "didn't mean to," he said. He "didn't mean to" even though I said, as he got on the mower, "Please don't hit my spider lilies." He gave me "the look," you know, the "Oh for cryin' out loud, I've been mowing all my life" looks.
I guess it's okay though, only about 362 more days until they bloom again. *sigh*
;)
I've been a tittybaby wanker today, but I've kept it mainly to myself. I think I have anyway.
We're leaving tomorrow to go see Cain. First we're going to the Trion game to watch our boys play, then we'll grab Jake and head on to Kentucky. We weren't going to leave until Saturday morning (he plays at 1 on Sat.) but I-40 in Knoxville is closed down completely for construction, AND Tennessee plays tomorrow in Knoxville so we thought it best to leave so we don't have to fight that traffic.
I'm so happy that Marshall's parents are keeping my Lucy Goose again. She had a great time up there last time and I knew they'd take good care of her. It makes me not worry so much, knowing that she's with people who know what a psycho I am over her, wait, did I say psycho? Pssh.... ;)
Night.
