Here is Cain making his first tackle in our first game (he is number 32). :) We won the game, 27-21. We were very proud of him. He only got to go in three times, but he did very well. He got knocked to the ground on his first go out. After the game I said, "You got your butt knocked down on that first go, huh?" and he said, "It felt great, I haven't been hit in three weeks!" Here's the shot of him getting the hit:

:) You know a kid REALLY loves football if he enjoys being hit. He wasn't kidding either, he loved it. LOL
I know he's just a freshman but I hope he gets to see the field more. He only got to go in with special teams and I want to tell the coaches that they don't know what they're missing out on by not having him in on defense all the time. :) Sorry, but that's just the mom in me. As far as I'm concerned, he is the best football player in the world. ;) Seriously though, I want to see him on the field more and I know it kills him standing on the sidelines.
The ride home was LONG and I'm exhausted and going to bed.
Night.
