Ahhh....Home!

I know, I know...she's the cutest thing in the whole wide world. :) She was wearing her Union sweater to support the team, but the sweater kept riding up. ;)

I've been at home most all day. I went and paid a few bills, ran to the store, to the post office, and then came back home. It's a beautiful day outside so I went out and worked in my yard a bit. Rather stupid on my part though, because the wind is blowing so bad that more leaves are falling than I could ever hope to rake up.

My HP laptop has a high-def "BrightView" display. Some photos of people, or anything bright, look distorted because everything is SO highly saturated. I don't know how to fix it. I really think there's nothing TO fix, I think it's just the type of screen that causes it. I talked to five different people on HP's online chat, then they had me call a number to see if they could just send me an exchange. I was on hold for 2 hours, 10 minutes, and 58 seconds. NO ONE EVER ANSWERED! Now I'm tried to decide if I just deal with it, because the laptop itself is awesome, or send it back to exchange... I think I'll just keep it since I've got all my stuff on there. I don't know, what should I do? UGH!

Night!

You can get something to calibrate the screen to make photos look more like a print. Pantone Huey is one. I've been meaning to get one, so I can't yet vouch by experience...but I think all the pros swear by them if you are doing any ,printing, editing or even proofing on your home monitor.
