Today has been yet another day of just feeling so-so. I hope I'm better by the weekend. I hate sitting here when it feels so heavenly outside. We haven't had our A/C on all week. Right now it's so cool I could probably put on pants instead of shorts and be rather comfortable.
I wanted to wait a bit longer to post the six-month update on how I'm doing with my weight loss, because I have chipmunk cheeks (worse than normal) because of the dental surgery I had on Monday. I'm going to go ahead and post though, so feel free to laugh.
Here I am before I started my workout six months ago and here's a shot taken today:
I have lost 36 pounds, three pant sizes, and depending on the maker of the shirt, I've lost two or three shirt sizes, too. I still have a LONG way to go, but I'm so happy with my progress thus far. Of course I wish the weight were coming off quicker, but I'm not taking any diet pills, any diet aid of ANY kind. I've done two things to lose weight: changed my diet and started working out at the gym. Hopefully by this time next year I'll be at my goal weight. :) Keep me in your prayers.
