We left Touk around 11 this morning. He didn't want us to go (wow! He actually wanted to talk to his parents!) but he had a photo shoot to go to and we were ready to get on the road.We stayed off the interstate and took back roads most all the way home. Near Jamestown, Tenn. we came upon a town called Rugby. What a GORGEOUS old community. I can't wait to get back there. So, SO beautiful.
Today was perfect. Everything was just wonderful. We are tired for sure (it took us nine hours to go the same distance that normally takes us only three hours), but we saw so many beautiful places. The colors up in northern Tennessee are a little better than we have here right now, but I'm afraid the leaves are falling before they change. :(

Lucky you! I would have loved to have had the time to drive from Virginia back to Wisconsin.
That would have been some adventure!
