First Fall Festival

Either there was a reenactment in the Chickamauga Battlefield today or I was seeing some really amazing looking ghosts. :)

Lucy and I went to the Rock Spring Show & Sale all by our little selves today. It's the first fall festival of the year, and although I haven't enjoyed it much the past couple of years (they need more vendors), I still wanted to go just to get out of the house since I was here alone.

Lucy (my Shih Tzu) was a good girl until we'd see another dog and then she'd do her little crazy screaming thing that she does and I wanted to strangle her. Anyway, had a great time there, mainly because I saw one of my "old" best friends & we talked forever. I also bought 3 soy candles: Pumpkin Muffins, Christmas Wreath, & Christmas Spirit (3 for $10, not bad) & two mums. The candles smell AMAZING.

After we left the festival we headed to walk in the battlefield. I thought Lucy would really enjoy that (Humphrey is in Fla. with Brooke so she's been a bit lonely). She DID enjoy the walk for about 10 minutes and then insisted I carry her for the majority of the walk. And if you think a Shih Tzu can't insist on something, get one and see for yourself.

It was another beautiful, cool fall day. Isn't this the best time of year? :)
