I was on the back porch the other day enjoying watching my birds when there was a huge commotion and birds and squirrels scattered in every which direction.

Sneaky hawk!
It rained on me and Brooke the whole way to our hotel here at Hiawassee. We are staying at "The Lodge At Copperhead," which is absolutely beautiful. We didn't know at the time that I made the reservations that it was built mainly for bikers, but it's still a great place for anyone. It's just a gorgeous place to stay.
We ate at the Chophouse, which is a place that Marshall and I have had dinner at twice before and it was AMAZING. This time it was not so great and I was really disappointed after having talked it up to Brooke so much.
It's still pouring rain so we are just relaxing at the hotel tonight. We are going to Anna Ruby Falls tomorrow and to visit some local antique shops. Can't wait!
