A Shopping We Will Go

So today I went and got all of my groceries for Thanksgiving. The price went up by about $50 this year. Anyway, I'm just glad that I got up super-early and beat the crowds to the store because by the time I was checking out the store was getting packed.

I made my first two pies for Thanksgiving dinner tonight. It's a new recipe that I'm trying so I hope it turns out well. It's pumpkin mixed with some other stuff on a layer of butter pecan ice cream. And even though butter pecan ice cream is my favorite I know that I won't eat the pie because I hate pumpkin. :)
