Today I saw my first Yellow-bellied Sapsucker of the season. He was out there where I hung suet for him last year so I ran out there and he patiently waited until I spread it all over the usual places and then came back down to enjoy it. I LOVE listening to them. They are such beautiful birds.
My hubby is on a hunting trip with his father and I'm already in the bed. Truthfully I've been in the bed since 6:30ish, reading and just relaxing. I'm still so wound up from the wedding and all the things that I need to do here at the house BUT just a little bit ago I kind of crashed, so I think I'm finally about to sleep. :) Goooo ME!
