TGIF

This is the water and part of the island of Coco Cay. Isn't it all just beautiful? Boy, I wish we could've spent lots more time there.

This morning I took Lucy and Schroeder to the kennel to be groomed. While there I asked one of the girls that worked there how River acts when I bring her to be boarded. She said River was an angel. She said they know not to get her around other dogs, but with them she is wonderful. She said she fetches, gives kisses and is just a happy girl. I'm glad to hear that she doesn't act the way she did at the vet's office on Wednesday.

I have been saving for some new cookware. Hubby and I have pretty much had the same pots and pans since we got married 26 years ago with some new ones thrown in over the years. We've always just got the cheap stuff because, sadly, it just never mattered. Finally though I decided to get something good that will hopefully last forever (or my lifetime anyway) so I bought Cuisinart cookware. It got here yesterday and I want to cook everything I can get my hands on just to try it out. Sadly, hubby was away on a job and didn't get home until today so the only thing I used my new cookware for was to make eggs for egg sandwiches. :) I'll use it all for something yummy this weekend.
