Couch To 5K
Last night I signed up to run my first 5K. :) I am SO excited. Today I started the "Couch To 5K" program and did my first run. You walk briskly for 5 minutes, then run for one minute, then walk for a minute and a half, and then run again for one minute. You have a total of eight 5-minute runs with 1.5 minute walks in between. That's how the first week goes and then your runs increase until you are up to being able to run a 5k (which is 3 miles, I think).
I had my hair colored today. It's really dark and has a bit of red in it. No one likes it but me, as per usual when I go this dark. Oh well, I'm sure it will fade out in just two or three weeks anyway.
