Today my hubby and I went exploring. I didn't know that we were going to get out and go hiking, else I wouldn't have worn my cowboy boots, which do not make for good hiking boots, especially when you consider that we walked a half a mile down the side of a mountain ("and two miles back up," according to the park ranger).
Not only did we walk a half mile down the mountain, but we did so in icy conditions. Like say, these steps that are there to get you off a small cliff:
But when you get to the bottom, you see this, so it's all worth it, I suppose:
Hubby didn't come down the rest of the steps with me, but I wanted to show how brave I was, because these steps were icy, too. It looks like I'm looking down at him, doesn't it?
This is Greeter Falls and it sure is pretty. We had a great time out exploring today and we saw several different pretty areas. I love Tennessee. It's such a beautiful state. :)
Now I'm going to go bundle up and watch TV until my bones are no longer chilled.
Night!
