Today my father-in-law came over and started cutting up the ground for our garden. I am beyond excited. This will be our first real garden.
We will be planting corn, potatoes, cucumbers, peas, okra, tomatoes, beans, watermelons, & onions. I'm sure I'm forgetting something, but those are the main things. I will also be planting some sunflowers and some zinnias just to make it pretty.
I'm very excited to document it all and see how everything turns out. Luckily my hubby comes from a family who has gardened their whole lives so he knows what he is doing, and if he doesn't then his father (on the tractor above) sure does.
