Today I got to spend several hours with my buddy Kandi who I haven't seen in a coon's age. We had lunch and then went next door and painted some pottery. This is what I finally decided to paint after probably 45 minutes of trying to decide on what I wanted.
Here's my bowl all painted:
It will be fired in a kiln and I can pick it up next Tuesday. I'm pretty excited to see how it turns out. Kandi did that sugar container there behind my bowl. She chose really pretty colors. I can't wait to see it, too.
I wasn't very adventurous this time but hopefully if/when we go back to do it again I'll pick something a little more challenging.
I had a great time with her. We haven't got to spend time together in a long, long time.
